Hi Guys
I have been posting a lot in this forum and you guys have always been helpful.
I am basically finding the best US city to move to.
Nashevill comes on my list now.it was Tampa before lol.
we are family of 3.8 yr old kid.

My plans are live on 4-5 acre hobby farm where i can keep horses, sheep etc.
Is there any safe neighborhood close to Nashville downtown 30 min where i can do this?
Budget is 700k

Thanks
Sam

There are people who live in subdivisions in Franklin that can't get to downtown Nashville in 30 minutes.

30 minutes to downtown Nashville will be the challenge, because most land of that size that is THAT close to town will be marked for development.

There is land available as you describe, but time of commute and the price will have to change to get what you want.

I haven’t been to Nashville yet so 30 min was a rough idea.
Let’s say 45 mins.
Is Franklin a good place to start with.?
Any more names?

You'll have more options if you look in places like Rutherford County

or Sumner County:

You need to be sure to check the local city or county codes regarding livestock and how many acres are required to have animals.

Wilson County has a few pop up in that range every now and then. Mt Juliet is probably further than you want (though I can make it into town around 60 minutes from out between Mt Juliet and Lebanon).

Maybe the Kingston Springs, Pegram or Ashland City areas in Cheatham County?

Davidson County (Hermitage area to the East, Goodlettsville to the north) maybe.. I know I've seen some "mini horse farm" posts for the Hermitage area.

Depends on your budget. You can probably get something in Fairview/Pimms Springs/Leipers Fork area. Possibly Thompson Station too.
