I'm happy to see the international cuisine of this often overlooked street get some press:
GOOD Magazine | Goodmagazine - America's Tastiest Streets (http://www.goodmagazine.com/section/Features/americas_tastiest_streets - broken link)

However, I will say that my favorite restaurant, Siam Cafe on McCall just off Nolensville, didn't make the list.

For me, Nolensville Rd and Murfreesboro Rd have the best food in Nashville.

Hey Mike,

Speaking of food, I LOVE me some Zaxby's. I can't wait to be back down south where it's easy to get.

I agree - food variety is broad on Nolensville Road...but I stopped experimenting when I went to a now-defunct Turkish pastry shop, and ..(true story) when I chomped into a pastry that rendered a strange smoky nuance....and I glanced up at the proprietor who was at that moment, picking up a fresh pipe and lighting up ! I wanted to vomit, but settledfor a refund.

A very sad note - the old Florida Seafood Restaurant finally succumbed to the overflow of immigrants into the Nolesnville Road area. They were the standout eatery in this area for many years - in my opinion. All the "exotic" fare may appeal to the hip and chic, but I pass.... I also predict that Couser's will ultimately fall under the weight of the immigrant crush in this area. Sad, sad, indeed...

All I know about Nolensville Road and Murfreesboro Road is that the signs don't really mean "massage." Other than that, I don't speak the right language to spend a lot of time in that area.
