So we have been here 3 weeks and I noticed that the water smelled different in the shower and I am drinking the water for the 1st time and it tastes like chlorine. Is this normal and safe? Is it just me or have other people commented on this?

I noticed it right away when I moved here. When I take a bath in my jacuzzi tub, it smells like a swimming pool. It's normal for here it seems. I don't really drink it unless it if from my refrigerator faucet which is filtered.

Yes it smells moldy and dank! Happened in July of last year...Had something to do with an algae bloom or some unusual event??

Someone told me it had to do with the drought and low water tables. They added extra chlorine for safety reasons.

I am new here too, so I don't really know what will happen over the long term.
