We're looking for a safe, inexpensive hotel/motel in the vicinity of Berry Hill and the Nashville zoo. We will stay up to a month, while house/apartment hunting. Your recommendations will be appreciated!

There are several extended-stay hotels in Maryland Farms near I-65 and Old Hickory Blvd just down the interstate from there that will be a better option for that length of time than the Red Roof Inn and La Quinta near Harding Place.

Baymont Inn is probably the cheapest, followed by Candlewood Suites.

Just check Google Maps near the I-65 and Old Hickory exit and you'll see all the options.

If you must there is a Red Roof Inn on Sidco that is just north of Harding Place & I-65. Rooms on the interstate side may be a bit noisy.

With I-440 under construction that will be one highway to avoid. Learning to use Old Hickory, Harding Place to get around is a big plus.

We lived at the Residence Inn in Maryland Farms (Brentwood) while we were between houses. The location was great.

Agreed. I lived there for a week when I first moved here before my apartment was finished.
