It was my boyfriend and me staying in a 1-bedroom 2 years ago. I think if you get the 1500 sqft unit, it should be fine. It's very quiet all year long. Staff in the office were nice when we picked up mail packages. It's located in a very good neighborhood, people like to jog or have a walk. Publix for groceries is less than 10 mins drive.

I can't remember the utilities cost, but it's very reasonable, definitely cheaper than staying in a house. The only issue we had was the time they took to process the application. For whatever reasons, it took almost 4 weeks to finalize our application. After that, no problems at all.

I know how it feels to move across the country, I did it twice myself. There is so much to take care, but things are going to be fine. Just enjoy the process and welcome to the United States. You will love the Nashville area here!

Not at all in IMT. I actually had this serious problem when staying in another apartment at Bellevue.

We got a job in Nashville. We have never been out of Toronto ever. We just thought it would be a nice change of pace and all.

Ok just curious. I live in buffalo and an also looking to relocate to tennessee that's why I pay attention to this forum. I think I have my heart set on east TN. But TN in general seems like a fantastic state full of good people, good year round climate, sensible politics and good geography. It really is probably the "goldilocks" state in so many ways.

I don't think there are any tim hortons though.... The farthest south I've found them are in west virginia so you may have to adjust there

Hopefully its a move for better. I am just so tired of Canadian winters and taxes and high cost of living. But obviously there are good points too.
Free health care, no insurance premiums on health.
Universal benefits , education loans for universities etc. Lets see if we would stick in Nashville or not.
Hopefully YES
