With all of the violent storms systems that have occurred this year I am curious if storm shelters are fairly common in the Nashville area, especially considering that basements are not the norm. Thanks for any input. Dave

I personally do not know anyone with one or heard of anyone with one. My question is how would you find a reputable person to build/install one? Anyone can hang a sign and claim they build them. I would need proof that they work and some type of endorsement from a noted governmental agency and I don't think any type of "seal of approval" exists.
