Hi all..my husband and I have been investigating areas for relocation. Have seen some homes online for sale in this area. If anyone has any input re: the subdivision and problems with the airport we would appreciate it....specifically how busy the airport is and what times of day. We are familiar with municipal airports in general. Thanks.

Northwoods is a very upscale neighborhood in north Murfreesboro. The airport is very small and doesn't have a lot of traffic; I couldn't imagine it being a factor when buying a home there. I used to run all through the Northwoods area and I would see planes taking off and landing but it isn't noisy like a major commercial airport.

Mike is correct! I don't live in Northwoods but I have never heard anyone complain that lived in that area. My realtor actually lives in that area.

Hi,
We were also interested in the Murfreesboro area. Does anyone know how long is the commute to Murfreesboro to downtown Nashville?

That depends on where you live in Murfreesboro. If you live relatively close to Interstate 24, you should have a 30-45 minute commute depending on traffic. Of course, any accidents on the road could delay you. I live in Murfreesboro and make the commute to downtown Nashville everyday and do not mind the drive at all. I love Murfreesboro!
