Student Stride MTA transport program (schools, bus, public transportation)

Hello all, I am writing to get opinions and experiences about the student stride transport system. I understand this is public transportation but also not all bus stops participate. My child's route specifically will be from Donelson to East Nashville (Meigs).

specific questions: how long are they on the bus? Do these specific pick up points and drop offs (at schools) only pick up other students? If not, are they subject to a longer ride with more stops? and *gasp...strangers? Feeling over dramatic about this, sorry.

Anyone else take advantage of the stride student transport system? Please tell me what its like for your child.

Depends on your location & the route. May be on regular route with other riders. Experience depends on the time of day school begins/ends. Ride will depend on number of stops the bus may make,
