My family and I are planning to move to the Nashville area and through extensive internet research we are thinking that Hendersonville is the place for us (the verdict is still out until we actually visit). We do not want to live in an apartment due to their strict breed restrictions as we have a VERY SWEET pitbul. We would like to know where should we begin our search for a rental HOUSE ... we've looked through the ads on CL but we don't see many. If any one has a site we can look at please let me know or if anyone knows of anyone personally trying to rent their home please let me know. We would like to have at least 3/2 with a fenced in yard in the $1200/mo price range. Thank you in advance.

Check out Realtracs in addition to craigslist. I don't know of anyone renting their home personally, unfortunately. Best of luck.

Of the ones on realtracs,

Although a bit small at 1700sq ft, I think the Otter Pointe one is a good deal for the location. I know it's a bit over your budget at 1495 but it would put you in one of the most desirable school districts in Hendersonville.

If this one from craigslist is still available it would be a good option as well because it's at the first Hendersonville exit so you would cut down on commute time...also a good school district. NEWER HOME

You might also try searching in the Sumner Co side of Goodlettsville as that's a nice area and the homes would zone to Hendersonville schools.
