Nolensville Road is fine once you pass Old Hickory Blvd going to the town of Nolensville. On that Road you pass Lenox village, and the town of Nolensville that was some nice Antique shops.

Even Nolensville road on longer scares me the other way during the day.

There is really nothing much wrong with Dickerson Pike today any worse than with Gallatin Pike and you even now have Skyline Commons over there with a nice new Lowe's.The 37207 zip code of East and Northeast Nashville will continue to grow safer and more diverse as time goes on.

That's how I learned my way around the city. It was before we had forums like this to ask in advance. I turned around quite a few times.

Okay, yeah totally. Because Lenox Village on the other side of N road has ever been scary. Nolensville rd is not scary. Jefferson st, Dickerson Pike, Lafayette, 28th st, perhaps. But Nolensville rd, not so much.

I will say iloveastnashville as a person who also lives in East Nashville in the 37207 zip code and goes thru Dickerson Pike everyday I can tell you it's not that bad and that it has changed so much over the years.I mean the 37207 zip code is also gentrifying just look at North Second Street and the Cleveland Park neighborhoods and I can be confident that Fern Avenue and Ewing Drive off of Dickerson Pike will be some very hip streets to live someday and the Parkwood neighborhood is so very interesting, but anyway it's getting much better so it just takes time I suppose but that is my opinion.

As long as you stay where you are supposed to and don't go looking for trouble you should be fine. An out of town visitor would not end up in any of the crime ridden areas unless he/she was looking to buy drugs, or pick up a prostitute. And the cops here are not stupid, if they see an out of town license in a sketchy area of town you can bet your bottom dollar that you will get pulled over and searched.

I've lived here my whole life and have never ran into any big issues like a mugging. I've had my car broken into a few times, but that's it.

Very right you are lala27poodles all you have to do when moving into any area especially those in transistion is find a good neighborhood like mine to live at and keep away from any section 8 apartment complexes and you will be just fine.East and Northeast Nashville are getting better and yes I know it takes lots of time but that good change will come.
