I am moving to Brentwood in September but I am 43, never married and no kids- am I going to "fit in" there?

I think you'll be fine there...but most of the good nightlife and such is in Nashville or the Coolsprings area.

In the 2000 census, there were 7,693 households in Brentwood. 82.2% of those households were married couples. 48.2% of those households had children under 18.

If I were you, I would move closer to downtown, West End (Sylvan Park?) or East Nashville (if you prefer a more liberal atmosphere and don't mind the cons). More single people.
