Here's my problem. I have a loose water pipe under my house. Everytime I turn on the washing machine or the dishwasher I can hear and feel the vibration under the house. Does anyone know a good company to call that won't charge me a million dollars just to fix the loose or broken straps?

I don't know if they do work in Murfreesboro, but I've had good luck with Myer's Plumbing.

Kim, that sounds like a water hammer. That should not be too expensive to fix. The pipes probably need to be strapped down and put a little air thing on it. I've had that same problem before. Good luck.

Yeah, I thought of that too.

If you can get to it easily, Kim. turn off the main valve and then turn on every faucet in the house. flush the toilets, etc. and then close the faucets and then turn the main valve back on.

Just crawl under the house and start turning a bunch of things. I'm sure something will happen!

Thanks Steve. I have to call someone soon. I am scared the pipe is going to break and I will have real problems. Hubby is not going under the house. He is scared of spiders I think LOL! He did battle with Florida Palmettos like it was nothing, but he don't do spiders! His answer was call a plumber! My Hero!
