ok......so you guys in Nashville...........how's the gas now? also does anyone know how the gas is between Nashville & Chattanooga and then through Atlanta? We're going down to Atlanta for the race in 2 weeks & I am desperately hoping that all gas shortage issues will be worked out by then & we will have no worries. But I am just trying to gauge the situation to get a feeling of what I can expect.

Thanks guys.

It's back to normal here in Nashville. I don't know how it is further south, but I would guess that it will be back to normal everywhere by two weeks from now.

Well, in Charlotte it isn't quite back to normal, about 25% of stations don't have gas daily, and most gas stations don't have anything other than 87 octane. Not good for my car, need 93, luckily I usually find it, or only have to put in abit of 87 till I do. I am currently in need of it now, so hopefully someone has it today! I believe the NC mountains still don't have gas, so parts of Tn over there are probably hurting too..
