Columbia? Ha.

Unless things have changed (which i doubt), all Columbia has is a dying mall and Wal-Mart.

Spring Hill gets all the "good stuff."

We are extremely family-friendly and convenient with great schools and our town is clean and well kept. Our home prices may very well fall into the range you are needing as well.

Are you saying Franklin is about pretentious snobs?

Let's just say that in my 14 years here, I have found a higher percentage of pretentious snobs in that area versus other areas. That area has always had that reputation, but I learned from personal experience that the reputation is well-earned. I am certainly not saying that "everyone" in that area is snobby though.

Yes. I am aware of the reputation of those areas as well. However, I have not had as much experience with people from those areas and I do my best not to make judgements based solely on reputation. I make my judgements based on personal experience with people from a given area, not just based on reputation alone.

well thank goodness....because I think it was akm, who, in the "Should we stay home" thread asked, "Where do these ideas come from?" (or something close to that) in reference to the geographical generalizations and stereotypes between northerners and southerners. I would have been sad to say we found the answer right here among our own general area.

I was just addressing this part of the post.

Let's not take this so seriously. My point being there are good and not-so-good folks in every area. If you make a statement comparing people in community to "other areas", ....oh forget it.

Believe what you like. I think most here know I'm not judgmental.

I wasn't calling you judgmental...I was referencing your interesting post/question on the "should we stay home" thread and thought it kind of fit here too.
