Hi everyone,

I live in Memphis, but will be traveling through Nashville on Sunday late morning/early afternoon. I'm a vegetarian, my boyfriend very much isn't (though he is willing to try new things). Where are some good options for either brunch or lunch? I'm looking for a very vegetarian friendly place (though it doesn't have to be exclusively vegetarian). It can really be anywhere in Nashville or the surrounding areas, please just provide either an approximate address or a website.

Thanks so much!

I realize the OP has probably already come through Nashville, but for anyone else interested I've heard the Veggie Cafe is no longer in business.

That's unfortunate. The couple times I frequented it was really good and I'm not a vegetarian. It might have been a little bit ahead of it's time as that location is a little bit off the beaten path.

I actually just ate there the other day and according to the website that was posted they're just closing for two weeks, not permanently.

The owners of the Pied Piper Creamery are going to open a diner in that location in the near future. The Veggie Cafe is closing.

They will be open 7 days a week, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with breakfast served all day.

Okay good, I'll definitly frequent. The east side needs a good diner.
