I’m considering moving my family (Wife and two children) to the Franklin area.

I have extended family that just moved there recently. They are sending info and a phonebook to us.

I would probably work in Franklin or surrounding area, but would prefer a smaller community outside that area for home.

I am a HVAC residential and commercial service tech with over 20 years and in hopes of finding a professional and ethical family oriented service company for employment.

We would like to move sometime in April 07. If any of you have information on an HVAC company please let me know. When we get the phone book I’ll start calling and sending resumes.

I worked in the big cities before and do not want to work in Nashville. Thanks for any replies.

One of the best companies to work for in your field would be "Lee Company" in Franklin. Past this link in your web browser: http://www.leecompany.com

Steve..good luck...Franklin is a nice area for sure.....Nashville is a great area to be in as opposed to say, Memphis, or the hillbillies of Eastern TN...Nashville has great univeristies, research hospitals, pretty good infrastrusture right now...an enlightened business and social community, great music, decent non-chain restaurants, and even many fun things to do outside the home !!

Steve - If you are still looking for a HVAC sevice tech position, our company is looking for some experienced service techs, such as yourself. I imagine you are already settled in, but since I've been in the industry in this area for 34 years, maybe I can help with any questions or concerns. Let me know.

What is this statement about Hillbillys in East Tennessee? Isn't the state of Tennessee considered Hillbilly? That has always been my understanding. What makes the East different from the West? Please explain.

East Tennessee has more hills than West Tennessee, which is comparatively flat. It's hard to have hillbillies where there are no hills.

John we have not yet moved. I wouldn't mind talking to you. Can you email me, your email? Not sure if emails are are allowed in posts, so here's a verbose version.

Thanks.
