Is there cable modem or DSL available to homes on anywhere from 5 to 10 acres?

Are you asking about Nashville, or Tennessee in general? Cable is available almost everywhere except perhaps for the most remote parcels of land. Ditto, DSL, at least in areas serviced by BellSouth (now AT&T).

I was thinking along the lines of Nolensville, Franklin etc. I know where we currently live that if you get too far out into areas of Shenandoah Valley of VA that there is no cable modem or DSL available. I was just concerned that if we relocated to the Williamson County area that it may not be available if we purchase 5 to 10 acres. The houses we have looked at online are all on 5 to 6 acres but the listings don't say anything about cable/dsl.

Thanks for any help!

Cable is probably available anywhere in Williamson County. I live in Nashville so I can't say for sure.

I'm going to send you a private message about one point.

Default Cable for Internet service in Leipers Fork?

We purchased a home in Leipers Fork and are moving there in June. Do you think it would be a problem getting Internet through a cable company?

I have a friend who lives in Leipers Fork; I'll ask him tomorrow.

My guess is that you could get cable access without any problem.
