I get that impression. People don't seem to be obsessed with it like they are the Siegel schools, but it has a good reputation.

Moreso than Blackman?
I'm not sure. If I had to bet on it, I wold probably say the Blackman schools are more sought after, but that's just a guess though. My impression is that people might be a bit more satisfied with Scales than with Blackman Elementary. Blackman is pretty crowded and I'm quite sure Scales is at capacity as well.

I asked, because I remember my realtor telling me he got a lot of requests for the Scales school district.

His move went good! He is at my house tonight. He just arrived here today. Tomorrow he will receive a Furniture delivery, so will be offically a Murfreesboro Resident.

I live on cason trail and one option you might look into is the area is rezoning again for the schools. My son is in the eighth grade and he is in a county school but my daughter is in the fifth grade and she was put in a city school. However, they are rezoning again and my son said because of where we live he had the choice of Blackman or Riverdale. I am not 100% sure yet but that is what he said I know there are three apartment complexes. I am not sure of leasing but just here in a few mile radius there are three and I am not sure of how much they would rent for. I do know that one is townhouses that are for sale but like I said not sure about leasing. One is off Cason Lane, and the other two are off St. Andrews so if you google both streets in murfreesboro you should be able to obtain more information. Contact the school board about the rezoning and you may have more options than you think. Hope this helps.
