Hi, I am coming to visit during Spring Break, and I was wondering where the best place to stay is, near downtown and Broadway. I notice some extended stays seem to have better rates per week, but Ive never stayed in one of these. We will be there a little less than a week. Would it be cheaper to stay in an extended stay, and if so, any you could reccomend that are safe and close to all the action?

Thanks

Ever thought about paying by the hour instead of the day or week? You have a lot of flexibility that way, and I know a good place that is only a mile or two from the downtown nightlife.

There's an extended stay on West End, will you have a car? You'd want one if you stayed there.

I like the extended stays because they are like mini apartments & have a full kitchen so you can cook some of your meals if you wanted to & that can save money.

Some of the extended stays also participate with Expedia and other discount travel sites. We have seen some great deals that way with car rentals too. I like these properties, for a few more days, better than hotels.

That's right on West End Ave. That's a real nice area and close to downtown.

You should get on Biddingfortravel.com and learn how to use Priceline and Hotwire. You should be able to find something around $35/night, a significant improvement over the normal rates.
