Alright so my son was one of the lucky kids who got a ticket to Meigs for next school year. As you may know Meigs is in East Nashville on Ramsey St.
We were planning on moving to East Nashville, until we got a super-mega deal on a rental house just a little south of where we live now (Lenox Village).
My question to my knowledgeable city-data friends is what is the fastest way to get from South Nashville to Meigs during the morning rush hour. Classes start at 7:45 and we will most likely get him their before that so he can eat breakfast.

I've heard I-24 is a nightmare at that time of day so let me know!

Nobody with any suggestions? I was thinking of going up Nolensville Rd all the way?

storey, I can't say from experience that Nolensville will be any better than 24. I know Murfreesboro Rd can be miserable. I imagine Nolensville is similar, lots of traffic and very stop and go with the lights. If I were you, I'd probably take my chances on 24.

I went to Meigs back in the early 90s. Your son is in for a lot of work, but a great experience. We lived out in Hermitage, so our commute in via 40 was pretty easy.
