To JMT or moderators in general: I would like to throw out a request to make this thread a "sticky" - such as the Nashville chat thread. My thought is that humans are visual people. Chat can be experienced through images alone; such as images of a local festival or event.
I am developing pride in the new city I call home (even though I do reside in the 'boro, I am at Vandy 3 to 5 days a week) and I think it's important that we are able to share this pride through images that are easily found by new visitors to this forum as well as lifelong residents who are active members of the forum. I know when I was considering the move to Nashville from Detroit I was seeking out as many pictures and videos I could find. I have to say that the everyday pictures I found on here were the best and gave me a view of the city I did not find on other sites like flickr and the like. I especially liked to see peoples' gardens that were active here at a time of the year when I dreaded going outside to drive to the store because the car would barely have warmed up by the time I got to the parking lot.
