There is a Comfort Inn on Demonbreun:

www.comfortinn.com
1501 Demonbreun Street
Nashville, TN 37203
(615) 255-9977

As far as places to stay near 5 points there are 2 bed & breakfasts springing to mind but neither of the B & Bs are necessarily "budget minded".

Here are their websites:

East Park Inn
East Park Inn - An Historic Urban Bed & Breakfast - Nashville, Tennessee - BBOnline.com / Introduction (http://www.bbonline.com/tn/eastpark/ - broken link)

&

Since Demonbreun is about 3 miles from 5 points so you could easily stay at the comfort inn & go across the river.

The corner of Lebanon Rd & Fesslers Lane isn't exactly next door to Five Points, but this place is worth the drive:

Haha, I used to work in the Fessler's Pkwy business park. I passed that motel every day. Free adult movies and water beds...wow yeah that's a classy place there...definitely an asset to the community.
Since some emotion is lost in text, just for clarification, that was pure sarcasm there.

Seriously though, I'm not sure there are any hotels near 5 points. Your best bet may be downtown, or try your luck on Dickerson Rd.
