Moving in a few months and needing a means of transporting myself. Something reliable but cheap (<6k). Any tips on where I should look? Classified ads, craigslist, good dealerships? Dealerships to avoid?? Thanks!

My recommendation is the same as it would be if you had a washer you needed to sell, you wanted to hire a prostitute, or you were looking to connect with that hottie you made eye contact with on I-65: Craigslist. You can find anything you're looking for there.

You could look in the different newspapers ads like the Tennessean or wherever you live. Look on kijiji.com, ebay.com, domesticsale.com, oodle.com, lemonfree.com, or autotrader.com. There are tons of places to look where people want to get rid of their cars for below NADA or Kelly Blue Book pricing.

ps
"or you were looking to connect with that hottie you made eye contact with on I-65: Craigslist" - that's funny
