Quick search on google...

"Wharton Elementary and Madison Middle will open this fall, but at facilities currently used by schools set to be shut down by the rezoning plan. Wharton Elementary will exist this year at West Nashville’s Brookmeade Elementary facility, and Madison Middle will open at the current Ewing Park Middle."

Hi everyone. I'm moving down to Nashville from NYC with a NY elementary certificate and MSEd. How is the teacher job search like down in Nashville? Is it best to contact schools directly, rely on the MNPS human resource office, send out resumes by email/mail, or all of the above?
Is it also true that teaching jobs fill for the fall by the end of April? That sounds awfully early - in the Northeast interviews usually go on through the summer. I sincerely appreciate any insight you can provide me. I look forward to my move and becoming a Nashville teacher (hopefully this fall!)
