You should probably start looking for a new job. GM's going bankrupt and Saturn will probably be the next line to be shut down.

I watch the automakers fairly closely, but I haven't heard much about what's going on with Saturn. GM hasn't dumped it yet (like Pontiac), but they haven't found a buyer yet either.

One way or another, expect job cuts.

Fwiw, GM says there are suitors:

GM Plans to Sell Saturn

Not sure if GM is telling the truth or simply trying to pump up interest.

I would hope that the Saturn team members would get together and buy out GM. to have their own Co. ( like Harley did in in 81 )

oh no, I better be looking for my next Saturn to buy really quick
bought mine brand new in 1999 and have 230,000 miles with no major work on it
hope my next one is that good also

Yep! It's been over a year and they are both going strong. LOVE Saturn. GM can't seem to get out of their own way.
