We finally made it to Franklin and have fallen in love with the town and the people.

We are still searching for our dream home and we are wondering about a neighborhood named Keystone. We love a couple of the homes in there but we noticed that the train tracks are on the back of the nieghborhood. If anyone has any knowledge about how often the train runs and how it affects that neighborhood as far as noise and property values I would love to be a beneficiary of that.

I have contacted the Spring Hill CSX office directly but can't get anyone to call me back with the schedule and the realtors for the listed homes in Keystone seem to not be in the know either.

Any help would be appreciated.

Our son has a house with the tracks in back but the house is set back quite a ways from the tracks. The trains don't go by very often and they don't seem to mind the train at all. My understanding is that it just goes to the Saturn Plant, but I could be wrong.

sfitz,

Thank you. Yes, this house is set off the tracks a ways as well and there is a road between the tracks and the house as well, but my main concern had more to do with resale than anything else. People have an aversion to rail road tracks it seems.
