I am currently staying in nashville with my wife and twin babies. My work is around the Vanderbilt area. I was wondering about the safety of staying in the Acklen park road in westend as this will be very convenient for me regarding my work. Safety is my first priority as I leave my wife and daughters for a few days a week. Please advise me whether this is a suitable area or whether i should find another area. Please suggest. Thank u.

I have a friend who lives not far from there. It's basically a safe area; there has been a few incidents in the general areas of cars being broken into and that sort of thing. Non-violent crimes, in other words. It's not an everyday thing, but it has happened. On a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 being very unsafe and 5 being very safe, I'd probably give the area a 4, or just slightly less. The part of Acklen Park Road closer to West End is probably a little safer than the part of the street across I-440 and next to the railroad tracks.
