I am looking for a baptist church in Nashville or near it. I live in donelson, in college. I would like to find one that offers am and a pm service on sundays. Also one that is not incredibly conservative. The last church I attended had a nice balance of very conservative people but also a lot of normal families and normal young adults.

So conservatives are not normal? I would say that about liberals.

the wording might not have been the best.. I'm not looking for criticism. I'm looking for someone who might be able to point me in the right direction.

That's very difficult because church is such a personal preference. What one person considers conservative another may consider liberal. I honestly think you re going to have to church shop. I know that stinks!

ive narrowed it down... possibly, just you read reviews/articles, you visit websites... honestly do not know what to believe. I'm young and on my own doing this and was hoping someone would have a good starting point.

Good luck to you! Sorry that you received a nasty response to your question.

We attend a very welcoming, friendly church in Franklin that has a nice balance, but it is not Baptist. You can google The Gathering Nashville and check it out!

Try Two Rivers Baptist. Its large, but well rounded. We attended there when we lived in Nashville.

I know a nice family who goes to this church
Hermitage Hills Baptist Church | HOME

Have been there once with them. No complaints from that one visit.

i'd avoid two rivers for the time being until they get their situation figured out. the former pastor left because he was using funds inappropriately.
