Hello, I am currently living on the westside of Indianapolis, in a small town called Danville. My child is a first grader there. The whole school population is 2613 (k-12). My husband may be getting a job in the Nashville area. We would like to live in a similiar type atmosphere. Looking for small schools, safe area, rural type area. Any suggestions. Currently our home is probably valued at around $125, 000 and would like to stay around that price range!
Thank you!

Do you know in what part of town your husband might be working?

I am not sure to be honest....however he doesnt mind commuting--now we live west of Indy and he drives to east of Indy. We are more interested in the area than the commute!

If you could say which area of Nashville, maybe it would help with suggestions. I know of smaller towns in different directions. I wouldn't want to say only one area and have your husband driving a long distance to the other side to work.

My family just moved from the Indy area to the Nashville area. I have been to Danville many times ,since they were a conference Rival. The towns that best fit what you may want are Whitehouse or Hendersonville. I live in Hendersonville and love it,because the town has a variety of things to do,and has many nice areas plus old Hickory lake. There are also many homes in your price rage. Hville is only 18 miles from Downtown Nashville, but still maintains many gorgeous Rural areas. You will love the Scenery down here ,and the warmer temperatures too. Whitehouse is more a more Rural town, but is near Hendersonville. Both towns have good Schools too!!

Good Luck!!!
