I just noticed that my June issue of Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine ranked the Nashville area as their #1 "smart place to live".

Quote:
50 Smart Places to Live
You told us your ideal city is fun, vibrant and affordable. We found dozens that fit the bill.

Not too many of us have the opportunity -- or the inspiration -- to quit our jobs, sell our homes and travel the country in search of the perfect place to live. But last year former Washington, D.C., residents Karen-Lee Ryan, 40, and her husband, Mark Wood, 42, started a six-month odyssey with that goal in mind. "We were ready for a life change, and the road trip was amazing," says Karen-Lee.

More from them on Nashville.

Quote:
#1 Nashville, Tenn.
Our top pick offers affordable homes, a mild climate and a phenomenal entertainment scene that goes far beyond country.

What we loved: Hillsboro Village, for the acoustic guitars at Cotten Music, kitchenware at Davis Cookware and the triple chocolate mousse at Provence Breads & Café.

What is with the "mod cuts"? Half of the time links get deleted, so I posted the articles, this time you leave the links and delete most of the articles. This place has some confusing posting rules.

I sure haven't figured out the rules either. I can fully understand them cutting out the articles but I can't understand their rules for cutting out links when you're only trying to give another poster information
