How is it doing? Have people moved in there yet? How has construction improved? The houses here are just amazing! How much money is the average house? I am talking about the new box ones. Have people actually moved in these yet. Or, are they empty? I think this could be a great neighborhood.

Has construction progressed?

All the homes up there have now sold. However prices fell sharply last year. There aren't currently any on the market, but I have a friend that has told me he is thinking of selling in the 400s later this year.
You can see the sold homes here. They are stunning.

Is there more room for other homes to be built in the future? I love the way they look from I-440. They must have spectacular views.

Default Are you kidding me?

Maybe I've been gone too long from Nashville, but are you kidding me? I wouldn't live in that part of town or in those homes if you paid me (well, if you paid me, maybe!). Wow, what a change. No thanks. Sorry, this was quite the shocker.

How long have you been gone? Yeah and houses in Sylvan Park (although I realize this is Sylvan Heights) regularly sell for over $400,000 as well.

I moved in '99. Was back in Nashville in 2003-2004 and left again. I visit occasionally as all my family are still in Nashville. My dad is a realtor there too. I HAD to tell my mom about this thread. I guess things do change. Charlotte Pike is not my idea of a very 'good' place to live. I used to when I was much younger, manage a restaurant on Charlotte Pike. Couldn't wait to move on from that job. Like I said, it was just a shocker.

BTW, the reason this thread caught my eye is I currently live in Nevada.

Well you missed out on a lot. East Nashville is now one of the ideal places to spend time. lol

The Gulch is now one of the most attractive areas of Nashville.

German/Salem town is now an attractive, young hipster, community.

Downtown has gotten a lot bigger.
