Hi, I currently live in Spring Hill and really like it. My husband and I both work in Cool Springs/Brentwood area. We will be buying a home in about a year. We are trying to decide whether to stay in S.H./T.S. area of move to Franklin. We can afford Franklin housing barely, but realize our money will go much further in S.H. We are o.k. with the commute, as it's not too bad!

I guess my main concern is which would be more economical. S.H. has lower housing costs and cost of living in general, but we will be spending more on cars and gas?? Will we save money by moving closer or will the trades kind of cancel each other out?

Cost of Living in S.H. is an 86 on the index, it is 93 for Franklin...what does that mean in thousands?

In thousands? That means you need to do a budget, girl. Nobody knows anything about your money except yourself. Figure out how much you spend in Spring Hill, figure out (approx.) how much you'd spend in Franklin. See if it's cheaper to pay gas/commute.

Nobody can work that out for ya, darlin!
