i will soon be taking a job in nashville. The job is located on robertson parkway. Can anyone tell me what is a good close location to live ...considering the following things:
i need public transportation
good schools
afordable renting nice area
nite life(r&b clubs) for the mature

I think you're talking about James Robertson Pkwy. which is a major street downtown in the government district. So you can find a place at just about any location... and at any distance from the core. So you'll have public transportation access from just about anywhere in the near-in neighborhoods. The schools might be a bit dicey that close, but there are good ones. The Metro schools are improving every year. Night life wouldn't be a problem, as it's usually surrounding the core. Then there is the tourist spots downtown. Good luck!
