We are looking at relocating to the Brentwood/Franklin area. We have two small children about to start school so we are looking at a family friendly neighborhood (parks/pool/sidewalks etc.) in a good school zone.

Does anyone have any good or bad opinions on Annandale? There are several new construction homes in our price range in that subdivision, but we know very little about it.

Any help is much appreciated!

Thanks!!!

Annandale is an extremely nice upscale community that is convenient to most any kind of amenity one would desire. The link to the Annandale website is: Welcome to Annandale.

One thing you need to be aware of about Annandale is that houses in the northern most part are actually zoned for Davidson County schools and not Williamson County schools.

Yep, that's the main thing to watch for. Be sure that whatever home you look at is specifically zoned for Williamson County. It can't just say Brentwood under "city."
It should be zoned for Lipscomb Elementary/Brentwood Middle/Brentwood High. If it is zoned Granbery/Oliver/Overton High, it's Nashville.

I looked at a few houses in Annandale when I was relocating from NY. While the homes are really nice, there is very little land and privacy. There are very few mature trees and most houses are on top of each other.

It is a great subdivision. What would you like to know? It has many top quality builders and has great schools. Part of Annandale is in Williamson County and part is in Davidson County. Most people want to live in Williamson County because of the schools.
