I have talked to Pie in the Sky and emailed Cozymel's back and forth- they book the private rooms and since we won't know schedule until the week of we will have a hard time getting a room- The Brewery won't let children upstairs SO we will call when we get schedule
Also will try sportsmans lodge- they sound like a good option and it may be that we go in between games in middle of day- this torunament has so many teams- it is going to be crazy- anyone know much a bout the sports bar/restaurant in the Embasy Suites-I bet we will end up there ALOT and at the manager's special and end up ordering pizza....

My husband took our boys there to watch one of the hockey playoffs last week, and he was shocked at how expensive it was. The food is good, but it's pricey. They ended up getting only appetizers to try and save money, but for the four of them it was around $60.

I hate to tell you this, but plan for rain. The weekend forecast does not look good at all.

It is not this weekend but memorial Day 5/28 and as far as price- we probably won't care at that point-just happy to all be together somewhere-how big is it?

Sorry, I forgot it was Memorial Day. Thank goodness.

I'd say the sports bar at Embassy Suites holds about 150.

It's an easy-access location, too. And there are a bajillion restaurants in that area, anyway.

OK, I called them since I'm not so great at estimating crowds, and they said their official capacity is 132.

Because that's just the kind of dork I am.

Seriously? 132? It seems so much bigger. Or maybe it was beer (jack and coke) goggles that made it look so big...who knows! Yes Wmsn, you are a dork, even if we are neighbors.
