Aww...

Wonder if the photographer tried to rescue her ducklings...not HER fault we have destoyed her habitat and forced her and others to deal with city life.

Almost forgot...saw several different pods of dolphins today.

There were 3 different groups...50 ft or so apart, with 5-7 in each pod...serenely moving up the coastline...

A tree that was still holding on to its autumn leaves a few weeks ago.

Good morning, all!

LOts of sightings yesterday and today:

YEsterday, I heard my owl buddy, but it was too dark to see him. We "talked" back and forth for a minute or so. Also saw 2 blue herons and a white egret.

This morning, I saw talking to one of the herons as I walked over the bridge. Once I got to the end, I was turned about 1/2 way backwards, still talking to the heron and came this close to running into a Muscovy Duck! He wasn't too happy with me and started making noises like he had a hairball to cough up. I made a quick end run around him and got out of there before I ticked him off too much. Gosh, he was pretty.

Take care, everybody.

I notice the wind and the weather a lot, and the changing light, quality of light, over the course of the seasons. Been taking walks every day, so even get in touch with the "feel" of the night, whats in the sky, etc....

Glad to find this thread!
