Look in the online Popular Science and Popular Mechanics and other magazines from the 1910 era through about the late 1940s, when most of America had a direct connection with growing food. There are numbers of plans for starling traps and other ways of killing them. This isn't a new issue. Read the previous posts on the thread for more info.
