if swans and fish can get along, and cats and dogs can get along, and fox and dogs,....don't you wonder why people can't?

You'd need an umbrella to stand under that tree!

Where I use to live a few years back. It was wooded area, we always had squirrels in the yard. One of the trees was an acorn tree, hence all the squirrels. I use to put a few peacans on the steps, upon smelling them would grab it and take off, like he had something. Sometimes I would give them peanuts in the shell, they loved them things, I guess they never had them before. Here in Carolina, I some times would get the raw peanuts in the shell and cook them myself. I would put them out on the steps, they loved them.
One day I tried am experiment. I put 2 peanuts in the shell on the porch, one raw and one cooked. They would smell both and take the cooked one every time. I did this several times, same thing. Then I put 2 uncooked ones on the porch, they smelled both. Didnt take either one. just leave and not even take one. Back to putting one of each. They would take the cooked one every time. I guess I spoilled them on the cooked ones.
