Simple question. If you had to be any animal, besides a human, what would it be and why?

Definitely a bird. Could be on land, in the air flying and maybe in water if I was a duck. I would like the versality of that. And, to be able to fly away from predators.

I would be a bald eagle. I would love to fly above everything and soar. Bald eagles are protected by law so I wouldn't be hunted. I'd still love to live in the area I do now, where we do have bald eagles.

I'm pretty obsessed with canids - dogs, foxes, wolves - yet I wouldn't choose to be one if I could pick any animal. I'd want to be a dolphin I think. I would love to live in the ocean and it would be sooo cool to start in deep water, propel myself toward the surface, and then surge high up over the water and dive back in! What a thrill! Plus as a dolphin I could eat a lot of seafood, my favorite.

Elephant. They're smart, powerful, and live a long life. They're also my favorite animal.

A bird has its advantages too. I'm a pilot and love to fly, so being a bird would be good in that sense -- maybe a trumpeter swan or even a Canadian goose. The only real problem I see with them is that they're... well, bird-brained.

Yeah. I think I might agree with the Dolphin as my choice as well. Or possibly an Orca, which is actually a Dophin, not a whale. The reasons being is that Dolphins are one of the smartest animals not to mention the fact that they dont have very many predators. I'm pretty sure Orca's are an apex predator with no one to fear in the animal kingdom, not even a Great White Shark.

My second choice would be a Jaguar, primarily because of their beauty, strength and quick acting ambush style hunting.

Tough choice. Probably a buffalo/bison.
