There is so much that is still to be discovered about communication between plants. I find it fascinating.

Years ago I read of an experiment where scientists attached some type of recording device to a tree in an area where other trees were being cut down. The unaffected tree registered alarm and signs of stress over what was happening around it.

I remember that! I was so upset for the trees! No wonder I am a tree hugger!
