Two days ago a doe showed up in my back yard eating my Crab Apples.. This morning she showed up again with her two fawns racing around playing follow the leader. Who can run the fastest or who can jump the highest I watched this for about half hour. I had too crop mom out of the photo do to size.
That is precious! I was given the chance to see this once in Pa. I would walk the dogs on the back side of one of the lakes and there were acres of green field. There was a Mom and her 2 kids and the kids were literally frolicking. I had deer come every day and eat out of my hands and all but I had never seen this and was in awe. I love the word "frolic" but don't think I had ever seen anything that could fully express that word until then. Such joy, such happy abandon, such pure happiness. I felt truly blessed to have witnessed that.
Back again this morning too play..while mom munches on the Crab Apples.
