I had a stray cat that was a maine coon mix and he would come every night to eat. So did some raccoons. I watched him, numerous times, thunk the raccoons on the head when they put their faces in his food dish. They had their own pecking order and everyone got to eat- the raccoons ate last. LOL Good old Oogie owned the food dish. and yes he was up to date on his shots and also I had him neutered. There haven't been any reports of rabies here for many years.
