It's hard for me not to be drawn to the Amur Leopard, with so few left in the wild (something around 50 perhaps):




Apparently, though, Amur Tigers were once also that low in number a few decades ago but are now in the hundreds, so perhaps there is hope of maintaining a wild population.

I like the tigers too, have seen a number of Amur Tiger cubs due to the zoo locally having much success. In watching them it's easy to see some of the behaviors that are common in the cats from the tiger all the way down to the domestic pet cat.

i like cheetahs...a friendlier cat that wouldnt eat you if hungry

i also like leopards...pound for pound, they are the toughest cats

also like bobcats and lynx

i had a maine coon cat that looked just like a lynx,,,23 lb house cat

For me, anyway, it would be the tiger or jaguar as a big cat, and maybe a lynx for midsized. Check out conservation NW on youtube, they have trail cams of lynx,bobcat, and a group of 4 pumas. Its awesome!

Hercules the Liger, which visited London is over 12 feet long and 980 pounds in weight (nearly half a ton). It's the Largest Cat species on the planet.
