I think that big cats are really unique, and each one has their own qualities. But which one is truly the most interesting? Vote based on the following criteria:
Appearance(size and other features, like spots, stripes, and tufted ears.)
Hunting tactics(methods they use to kill prey.)
Behavior(how they communicate,do they roar, growl,etc.)
And really anything else you can think of!
And btw, varieties of each animal such as black panthers are counted as that animal, and you can vote for it if you like that variety. An example:the white tiger
And remember, you can vote for two of them if you like two of them an equal amount.

I voted for "cougar" but I like to refer to them as "puma".

Actually, all of the felines listed below cheetah would be classified as medium rather than as big cats. I voted leopard as favorite large cat. Had there been a separate bracket for the medium sized ones would have voted bobcat. We also could have had another bracket for the smaller cats, many of them not well known. Of all the world's wild felines, over 30 recognized species, these two, the leopard and the bobcat, are my favorites.

How could anyone choose a favorite? They're all so beautiful.

Maybe snow leopards. No, lynxes. Or maybe ...

And is there anything cuter than a cheetah cub?

The life cycle and ambitions of the male Lion have long fascinated me: Born into the pride, the moms teach you to hunt, then your dad kicks you out at the age of puberty so you don't usurp him, then you have to fight your way into another pride, and if you successfully rise to the top, the women bring you food while you sleep all day, but if you get overtaken you just go off and die.
