Otters have a reputation of being cute and cuddly animals, but photos were recently re-posted on Facebook that show a side of the carnivorous mammal that will probably surprise you.

Not surprising in the least. I used to work in the Everglades, where you fill find otters and gators. I would have always bet on the otter to win in a fight against a gator, because as "cute" as they are, they are some vicious little creatures.

I have to note.......photo's look faked to me. In all the pictures the expression on the gator never changes.

I would never argue they aren't. That doesn't mean the photo's couldn't be set up.
