I'm aware that this was posted a few years ago and hope your situation with fleas has impoved. I aldo found fleas on my 1 yr old 😱 knew they were fleas as tjey were black and moved fast and hopped off her head when i tried to catch it. They came from a stray cat I allowed in for an hour to feed. Washed couch covers and vacuumed. Luckily haven't had a problem since.
I was so amused with the way you explained your dilemma I cried laughing reading it not wanting to make light of the horror with the pesky fleas but i'd totally buy your book if you were ever to write one 😂
