"We invite you to participate! For at least 15 minutes on one or more days of the count, February 17-20, 2017, simply tally the numbers and kinds of birds you see. You can count from any location, anywhere in the world, for as long as you wish!"
Lets see here, we feed about 150lb milo every week during the spring, summer, and fall. We get probably more than a thousand birds a day coming to 4 LARGE feeders plus what we throw out on the ground. We have 2 large bird baths that require filling 2-3 times a day. It would take several people to count the birds. We get blue jays, green jays, cardinals, black birds, sparrows, mayan doves, white wing dove, mourning dove, mexican doves, and many more. And that's just what comes during the day. We have several owls that come at night and sit in the trees along with countless bats. And then somebody says count the birds! You'll need a team to count the birds at my house.
