I would have liked to see what happened if the police officer stopped his/her patrol car and got out. My feeling is that the turkeys would have scattered. Perhaps there is a chance the patrolman had too much 'chicken' in his/her veins? We have had these 'aggressive' turkeys within feet of us and have never had problems. But wild animals should be respected and different individuals have different temperaments.
