I didn't.

Took a walk through the zoo today and came across a exhibit of Flamingo's. They seemed to average a height of about 4.5'.

I think I need to go to the zoo more often.

I've always thought it amazing that flamingos are found on every continent except Antarctica and Australia. Very very few other species can claim that! For plants I think its yarrow and fireweed.

The tallest bird in North America is the Whooping crane. We have a flock that winters here, in North Alabama.
