An Oklahoma woman captured video of a man unwisely approaching a buffalo in a wildlife refuge and getting charged by the animal when he came too close.

The video, recorded by Danelia Zyks, shows a man sitting very close to a buffalo at the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, located near Lawton.

Do some people really not know how dangerous it is to approach large wild animals...? Seems impossible to believe...

Again? With all the selfies and videos on the web these days, all the previous news stories, all the warnings posted right at the refuges/parks people are still dumb enough to do this? Sometimes I wish natural selection worked a little bit faster. It would save the animals a bit of annoyance.

What an idiot. He should have been thrilled to even get to see one. I visited that same place a couple of summers ago. A really amazing place. Sitting on the mountain looking out over the prairi in on one side and the rest of the mountain range on the other was an experience I won't soon forget. Never did see any buffalo though. I did notice that a lot of tourists were doing dumb stuff like feeding the prarie dogs on the side of the road and getting a little close to the wild Longhorns. Sometimes I wonder how we became the dominant species....

To quote George Carlin....
